Secondary Antibodies

Secondary antibodies are monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies which are responsible for binding to primary antibodies attached to specific proteins, allowing for the detection, purification, amplification or sorting based on the presence of specific antigens.

Secondary antibodies are common in a range of techniques, including western blot and immunohistochemistry. Fortis Life Sciences® offers a range of secondary antibodies against a number of different host species, including mouse, rat, rabbit, goat and other animals.
